It is unfortunate that over the years the reputation of hearing aid quality has always been coupled with the notion that they are almost cost prohibitive.
Nothing could be further from the truth. With the advances in technology, the quality improves. Likewise, improvements in production help to make them more affordable than ever before.
The Quality is Reflected in the Price
The old axiom, you get what you pay for is as true today as it has ever been. Unfortunately, the hearing aids you find advertised on late night television and in magazine classified advertisements will not correct the problems associated with hearing loss.
There is a huge range in the cost of hearing aids. Because of advancing technology you can find very good sets for as low as $1300.00. We generally find the average set costs the user around $3000.00 with top of the line hearing aids topping out at about $6200.00.
Not Always a Matter of Price
If you find you are suffering from hearing loss and are unable to afford the cost of hearing aids there is help available.
